Now, tourists will also be able to enter Satpura National Park from the Chhindwara gate, just like Pench. The Forest Department has almost completed all the preparations, as a gate of Satpura Tiger Reserve will be opened from Tamia Delakhari Forest Park. The Tourists will be able to see the Satpura Tiger Reserve comfortably from this gate if everything goes well in the coming two months. And this will also save tourist’s travel time. Tourists from Chhindwara have to enter the Satpura Tiger Reserve through the Madai Gate in Hoshangabad currently.

 

Without going to Hoshangabad, tourists from Nagpur and Chinndwara can see the tiger in the Satpura Tiger Reserve with the opening of the gate in the Delakhari. At the Satpura Tiger Reserve's rest house, Tamiya Forest Division officials and Satpura Tiger Reserve officials had a long meeting where a proposal was passed to enter the Satpura National Park near Delakhari. The preparations for this have also begun, but it cannot be predicted when entry to this gate will be available. 

 

Tourists will have to travel only 25 kms.

To enter the Satpura Tiger Reserve, one will be able to enter Dudi village from Delakhari in Tamia via Sitadongri according to the Forest Range Officer. Tourists will have to travel a long distance of about 25 kms. after this, they will be able to enter the reserve areas directly.
