Either you drive your car or hire a cab, the route to Satpura goes through NH 45.

For those preferring a train journey, there are several trains running between Jabalpur and Itarsi Railway Station, the closest railway station to Satpura. The railhead is just 15 km from Satpura, and you can get onto a local transport, that will take you to the national park in half an hour. The train journey spans for about 3&½ hours. Therefore, whether you choose to travel by train or by road, the duration of the journey remains the same. However, there is a difference in the cost of travel. The road trip might cost you more compared to the train journey. So choose the commute according to your budget.
